in a small industrial town in Germany and confronted with the boredom that
comes with it, Tube & Berger, aka Arndt Roerig and Marko Vidovic, found
music at an early age. Then, age sixteen, the two found themselves performing
stage shows in a punk band when the ‘90s House and Techno boom hit town.

the challenge of giving electronic music an organic and “live character”, they

have the freedom to pave their own musical path and not have to bow down to a

decided to establish their own label “Kittball Records”, with their friend and

itself amongst the ranks of the top Tech and Deep house labels, with its tracks
regularly played by the international Dj Elite.

‘Kittballers’ are also responsible for the „It Began In Africa“ charity project.
The project, which helps young African musicians, has released two compilations

Format: B and Pirupa. Tube & Bergers “Free Tribe” single from the project
reached the top of the Beatport charts, where it stayed for several weeks and

Bakermat, an alias for young Dutch producer Lodewijk Fluttert, had a quick rise. In just three months he gained a lot of views, likes and followers with his productions. He has always had an obsession with music, in many genres. From an early age the young Bakermat was into jazz and blues and discovered house music at the age of 12. By fanatically listening to every track that was posted on blogspots he had quickly built up a huge library. When he was 18, he went to the University of Utrecht to study Psychology. It was there that he discovered deep house and producing his own music.

He started practising a lot with production and deejaying and quickly developed a sound of his own. His signature sound, deep house with jazz and soul influences, started to attract a lot of attention in a short time. He went from being an ordinary student with no musical network at all to a producer with labels and agencies knocking on his door. In September Bakermat signed a contract with agency Soulmax, knowing that they will bring him to the next level.

His sets are filled with joy and happiness, and are always melodic. Saxophones, flutes, trumpets, Bakermat tries to use them frequently. The combination of these jazz instruments with deep house music is what makes Bakermat’s style unique. Still growing as an artist, Bakermat had a release in August 2013 on Delicieuse Records where he released the “Vandaag EP” consisting of the tracks Vandaag and Zomer (DM mix). Some other tracks that have been received with great enthusiasm are “Uitzicht”, “Black Cat John Brown” and “Strandfeest”. He is currently working on productions with other artists such as Arjuna Schiks, Goldfish and Tonique. A lot of work in progress is ready to be released and the gigs are lined up. Growth is what matters!

Few people bring a truly original sound to house music. At a relatively young age, Hamburg’s Martin Stimming did just that, demonstrating a sophisticated yet accessible sound that’s beyond his years.
Two years after hooking up with Solomun’s Diynamic Music, his 2008 breakthrough hit Una Pena made the electronic world sit up and take notice, and before long acclaimed labels like Freerange, liebe*detail, Buzzin’ Fly, Green and Poker Flat were snapping up his work. 2009 saw him release his immaculate debut album Reflections to great acclaim, cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting new producers of his generation. His second album, Liquorice, eschews the normal kick-clap/snare template by and large to explore more interesting and progressive territories, but always with that trademark magpie-like sense of texture, emotion and discovery. His productions are filled with a multitude of his own unique, charismatic field recordings, and he never uses the same sample more than once.

2010 saw him pick up an award for Best Newcomer at the Ibiza DJ Awards, following on from his live show (Stimming doesn’t DJ) stunning the crowds at the island’s legendary Pacha, and the finest danceries around the world – from Berlin’s Panoramabar to Sao Paulo’s D-Edge, Brussels’ Fuse, London’s fabric and Paris’ Rex, and plenty more beyond. Remixes for the likes of Sascha Funke, Claude VonStroke, Marc Romboy & Stephan Bodzin and Robert Babicz to name but a few have further spread his influence amongst the discerning house and tech community, and cemented his reputation as one of the scene’s most exceptional producers.

Clearly, Martin Stimming is a precious talent indeed. But then again, not everyone loves liquorice…
A clip of him performing his mash-up "Pop Culture", uploaded to YouTube on 7 July 2011, propelled him to international fame.It featured samples from thirty-nine songs mixed together on-the-fly using a Novation Launchpad. The clip quickly went viral and reached over six million views in just a few days.

During live performances, apart from the Launchpads, he also uses Novation's Zero SL MKII, FL Studio, and Ableton Live. His first live performance was in Paris in April, 2011 where he was a support act to Yelle, and his UK debut was at The Nest in Dalston, London where he performed alongside the likes of Jacques Lu Cont.

Leclercq has been featured several times on 15 Minutes of Fame, a segment of Pete Tong's radio show on BBC Radio 1, with both his debut single "Icarus" and his remix for Deadmau5's "Raise Your Weapon" given their first full play on the show. His live recorded performance debut was for Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 gala event in Hull on 27 January 2012, where he played a 20 minute-long set.

A debut EP was scheduled to be released at the end of 2011,but then cancelled in favour of multiple singles. The first single, "Icarus", was released on 24 February 2012 on his independent label popcultur.

As a sign of his rapid rise to international fame, in 2012, he was invited to play four major American festivals, the Ultra Music Festival in Miami,Coachella in California, Lollapalooza in Chicago, and Electric Daisy Carnival in New York, as well as several UK dance music festivals, including the Dance Arena at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend 2012; he also provided support for Swedish House Mafia's headlining set at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Leclercq was listed at number 54 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list in 2012.

Three of his songs have been used in media franchises: "Icarus" was featured in the US show Dancing With The Stars in May 2012 and 21 May 2013 (finals with Aly Raisman) and on the in-game soundtrack of Forza Horizon; "Finale" was featured in EA Sports' FIFA 13 and the opening cinematic of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale; "The City" appears in the Need For Speed Most Wanted franchise. "Finale" and Leclercq's remix of "The Night Out" by Martin Solveig were featured on the official soundtrack of ESPN's 2013 Winter X Games event in Tignes, France and both received several plays on air."Finale" continues to be used as the bumper music for X Games broadcasts. He toured with Lady Gaga as an opening act during her Born This Way Ball. Leclercq has cited The Beatles and Daft Punk as his greatest musical influences. Madeon released a new single on 3 August 2013 titled "Technicolor." Madeon worked with Lady Gaga on two tracks, "Gypsy" and "Mary Jane Holland", and co-worked on the track "Venus" on her 2013 album ARTPOP.
Danny Avila Producer Profile

At the grand old age of 18, Danny Avila has become one of the hottest acts in the world of EDM. From winning the ‘Best Newcomer DJ’ at the prestigious 2011 Vicious Music Awards at just 16 through to touring Asia, North America and Europe at the side of Tiësto at the close of 2013, Avila has risen through the ranks of the dance music elite based on his searing ability to demolish the world’s most prestigious dance floors and a talent for music production that has seen him snapped up by the likes of Interscope Records, Big Beat Records, Spinnin’ Records, Musical Freedom and more

It’s a story that smacks of hard graft, pure talent and an undeniable passion for music. DJing from the age of 12 and producing from 13 using money earned from playing friends’ birthday parties to buy rock-bottom equipment, at 14 the young Avila – whose work ethic borders on the fanatical – left his home, friends and family in the Spanish resort of Marbella to move to Madrid, focusing on doing the unthinkable and scoring as many DJ gigs as possible in the city’s clubs. “I knew it was going to be hard,” says Avila, “but there was just nowhere for me to get any real experience playing out in Marbella and I’ve never let my age stop me doing anything. My older brother spoke to local promoters for me and that’s how I started getting my very first gigs.”

It was whilst playing a warm-up set in Benidorm’s Ku Club that Danny first met Fedde Le Grand. The international superstar was beyond impressed with the teenager’s innate ability to read the crowd and his blistering arsenal of music that stretched far beyond the usual Beatport Top 100 fare, and the two struck up a conversation that quickly evolved into a firm friendship. Seizing an opportunity, Danny approached Fedde’s management company Sushi 3000 who, immediately recognising the scale of talent in front of them and on Fedde’s personal recommendation, snapped Avila up without a moment’s hesitation.

It was that break that led to the explosion that has become Danny Avila today. It’s not just the legions of adoring fans that have become firm supporters of his explosive live sets – the elite of the music industry have fallen under his spell just as swiftly. Playing in Ibiza across the summer of 2011 at jet-set hot spot Blue Marlin, Avila was duly invited to join the Café Ole team at Space Ibiza and the following year, at the personal request of Tiësto for his 2012 Opening Party, at Pacha Ibiza. Wowing both the crowd and probably his biggest idol, Danny was invited to join Tiësto for an incredible nine further dates across the summer. “Ever since Danny opened for me at the start of the 2012 season in Ibiza, I felt he was going to be something special,” Tijs Verwest said. “He’s smart, respectful, knows his music and most importantly knows how to give the crowd what they came to hear. There’s nothing I enjoy more than working with upcoming producers and DJs like Danny who are willing to work hard and who want to win. I believe 2014 is going to be a big year for Danny.” In the crowd, listening with rapt attention, was Eddie Dean, owner of Pacha NYC and now one of Danny’s biggest supporters. “I couldn’t believe how young Danny looked at first,” Eddie said. “Then I couldn’t help noticing how poised he was on such a huge platform such as Pacha Ibiza in August, with Tiësto looking over his shoulder. Right there, I knew he had ALL of what it takes.”

They say word of mouth is the biggest form of support, but when the mouth of Eddie Dean speaks to the ear of Scott Greenstein, head of Sirius XM in the US, you’re entering a whole new ball game. Without one single date in the USA, based purely on the music and the level of buzz that was emanating from Ibiza about Avila, the young Spaniard found himself the station’s youngest ever prime-time resident with his ‘Ready To Jump’ radio show broadcasting both afternoons and nights across the North American continent.

To say things mushroomed for Avila after that is probably an insulting understatement. Now so in demand with global promoters that he could play every single day for a year if he wanted to, the teenager has already graced the hallowed stages of Coachella, Ultra Music Festival (an incredible Main Stage debut), Electric Zoo, Electric Daisy Carnival, Creamfields, TomorrowWorld and too many Insomniac events to mention, plus his incredible residency at the show-stopping Hakkasan at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Further club dates across North America, South America, Europe and Asia have flooded in, with 2013 wrapping up in spectacular style with the confirmation that not only would Danny join Tiësto on dates in the USA, Mexico, Holland, Israel, Malaysia, Indonesia and South Koreo, but would also join Tijs and Calvin Harris as official support act for the UK leg of their ‘Greater Than’ tour.

Supporting his live gigs have been some incredible pieces of production that have garnered support from A-list artists including W&W, Dada Life, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Calvin Harris, Fedde, Deniz Koyu, Bingo Players, Tiësto of course, and many, many more. Building from those second-hand pieces of hardware he bought aged just 13, Danny has, to date, released debut track ‘Breaking Your Fall’ on Big Beat, ‘Voltage’ and ‘Rasta Funk’ on Spinnin’ Records, ‘Tronco’ and upcoming hit ‘Poseidon’ on Musical Freedom, remixed Skylar Grey’s ‘C’mon Let Me Ride’ on Interscope Records and Krewella’s ‘Live For The Night’ on Sony Music/Columbia Records, plus mixed compilations for two of the biggest dance music institutes going – Ministry of Sounds’ ‘Ministry of Sound presents: Danny Avila Live’ and ‘Ibiza Calling’ from the legendary night at Space Ibiza, with whom Danny has been so closely associated with in recent years.

Oh – and if all that wasn’t enough, he’s not only spear heading the next generation of superstar DJ/producers – he’s also pretty damn prolific when it comes to anything concerning a board. Verging on pro skate- and snowboarder status, Avila’s also notched up 2nd in the Spanish Wakeboard Championships, 7th in the European Wakeboard Championships and 12th in the World Wakeboard Championships – as ever proving that he’s ready to jump no matter what the medium!

There is, it seems, absolutely no stopping Danny Avila at whatever he turns his hand to. The future beckons, and it’s practically blinding.

Rising Dutch DJ and producer R3hab has established his name in the international dance scene in a short period of time. His producing skills and love for electronic music have made him one of the highest requested remixers in the dance scene right now, remixing for artists like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Calvin Harris, Lil’ Wayne, Ne-Yo, Pitbull, Sean Paul, Dada Life, Snoop Dogg, LMFAO and Bob Sinclar to name a few.

Then there are also R3hab’s original productions that have moved dance floors around the world and more than frequently get listed in Beatport’s charts. His most notable releases to date are ‘Pump The Party’ produced together with Ferruccio Salvo, ‘The Bottle Song’, released on Wall Recordings and the much-anticipated ‘Prutataaa’, which is R3hab’s first collaboration with Afrojack.

It might therefore not surprise people that the multi-talented and much- promising R3hab quickly got signed by Afrojack to his Wall Recordings imprint and is quoted as being “one of its biggest talents”.

When it comes to DJ’ing R3hab really knows his business, bringing all the right music to the dance floor at all the right times. Whether you are enjoying his sets on the radio or at the club it is clear that when R3hab is behind the decks people get uplifted and want to dance. There is no getting around the energy that he brings to his craft and this experience is something you really should not miss.

So far R3hab has played at the most famous clubs around the world, in countries like the USA, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Morocco, France, Australia, England and the Caribbean. 20114 will surely see him continue his trend of travelling around the globe and bringing his music close to you, as well as surprising people with more top quality remixes and original material. Be sure to keep following this young Dutch multi- talent, the best has yet to come!

R3hab has just reached 1million fans on facebook and in celebration of this he is giving away a free track. It's a cheeky track with some Middle Eastern influences, check it out :)
Distant from the main stages and social circles of Dubstep in Europe, especially in the UK, Borgore turned to creating a huge online presence using many social network platforms.
